TOUR OVERVIEW
Our first North American tour is coming: QUEBEC ’26, Inner Circle’s jam-packed five-day excursion to the Montreal area’s best brewpubs, craft bars, wineries and cideries, will run from September 8th through 12th. As former importers of many of Canada’s very best beers and ciders, the ICBT team is uniquely qualified to lead you on this unique, high-end but super-fun trek — and, not surprisingly, most of the tour spots were pre-requested by past Inner Circle guests. But don’t despair, a few are newly available (see below).
This inaugural, long-awaited Canadian tour features tasting and dining stops with old importing colleagues Dieu Du Ciel! (both of their breweries AND hopefully their anniversary party are included), Hopfenstark, Dunham and (in the cider world) Milton — while our killer bonus list of extra-curricular producers and procurers includes the brewpubs Messorem, Isle de Garde and Sutton, the winery l’Orpailleur, the cidrerie Jodoin, the brewery/taproom La Ferme and the craft bar Vices & Versa. And that’s just what we know of so far. But are there really available spaces? Oui, read on!
Our Quebec ’26 tour is easy to get to, scheduled to coincide with the short Labor Day week, AND set amongst the beautiful Quebecois fall foliage (while hopefully coinciding with Dieu Du Ciel’s wild anniversary party)! It will be magical, especially accompanied by world-class ale, lager, wine, and cider. And all led by the most qualified and fun tour folks of all, Joel, B.R. and Bob. What le hell are you waiting for?
We have just 3 double and 3 single rooms left! So, e-mail us at info@innercircletours.com right now and get in on this unique and memorable trek!
DAY 1
TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 8, 2026
In the evening we will have an informal meet-and-greet beer at the friendly Montreal neighborhood brewpub Isle de Garde. This is an optional event to set us up for the official start of the tour the next morning. Dinner will be available there, and the evening is otherwise free; further beer and food still to be determined.
DAY 2
WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 2026
We will leave the morning open for guests to explore Montreal’s Old Town (or “Vieux-Montréal”), which is very close to our hotel, le Dauphin. At noon we’ll either board the private bus for the ride to the suburban brewery Hopfenstark north of the city, or instead visit their new facility right in town (we are waiting on the opening date for that project!). In both cases we will drive later in the afternoon to St-Jérôme, west of Montreal, to visit the production brewery of the city’s premier brewpub Dieu du Ciel!. Here we’ll have our opening dinner as well. For night owls there will be free time back in town when we return.
DAY 3
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2026
The first of our two big travel days east of Montreal begins at the winery l’Orpailleur, with a late-morning tasting. Having re-awakened our palates we then have a short ride to Brasserie Dunham, where in addition to a tour and tasting we’ll also have lunch, hopefully in their outdoor beer garden. From there we head to the scenic skiing town Sutton for an informal drop-in to sample the wares at Sutton Brouërie. There will also be the opportunity to head over to the nearby brewpub Brasserie À l’Abordage or the natural wine café La Réserve Naturelle, both within walking distance.
Due to the multiple options within Sutton our departure time may be determined last-minute! Whenever we do leave, our overnight will be in the quiet town of Granby.
DAY 4
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2026
Another busy day; this time we start our late morning with a tour and tasting at Cidrerie Milton, where we will also have lunch. In the afternoon we’ll visit the rural brewery La Ferme and get a tour of their hop yard before switching back to cider and spirits at the family cidery Jodoin. Our memorable whirlwind rustic road trip thus concluded, we will check back in at our Montreal hotel and then head out for a dinner at the lively beer bar Vices et Versa. The rest of our evening will be free for bar-hopping, in case we haven’t sampled enough today!
DAY 5
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2026
Our final tour day begins with a much-needed free morning. But then things kick into high-gear, starting with a lunch at the very popular and energizing brewpub Messorem. We then enter the hallowed home-base of the city’s most famed craft brewers, Dieu du Ciel!, for what we hope is their 28th anniversary party (the celebration date is TBD – even they don’t know it yet!). Party or not, we’ll see the tour out with some of Canada’s (and North America’s) most legendary specialty ales.
